- Click on the “Enter Passcode” field.
- Enter the numbers “11122277” exactly in the same order.
- Hit “Enter” or “OK“.
This will reset your Kindle e-reader to factory settings.

- Click on the “Enter Passcode” field.
- Type in “resetmykindle” exactly as it is.
- Hit “Enter” or “OK“.

- Using the five-way navigation option, select “Archived Items”.
- As a result, a list of all the books that you have deleted appears here. Select the book that you want to recover.
- Click the right button on the five-way navigation.
- Finally, once you hit the center button, your download will start.
Recovering your Deleted Kindle from your Computer
- Go to the official Amazon homepage.
- Enter your credentials and log in to your Amazon account.
- On the menu on the top, hover over “Your Account”.
- From the sub-categories, choose “Manage Your Kindle“.
- As a result, a list of all of your books appears here.
- Find the book that you want to recover. Next to it, there is an option named “Actions“. Click on it.
